Your Trusted Partner in Mental Health

I  understand that mental wellbeing is not just a destination, but a journey. I am  committed to providing a fixed point in a spinning world, offering support and guidance as you navigate the complexities of your emotions and mental health.

Sheila Emma Bannerman, Bsc
I studied at the Borders College and then with IICP in Dublin where  I acquired my Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have had the privilege of working with those dealing with a range of issues, from anxiety and depression to relationship struggles and life transitions.  Valuing our individuality I use a combination of modalities like CBT, DBT, and Psychodynamics to help you gain deeper self-awareness, challenge negative thought patterns, and create lasting positive change. We will work together to develop personalised strategies that fit your unique needs.
I believe in the power of self-awareness, connection, and resilience. Life can present many challenges, but I trust in the capacity of each person to heal and grow. I am committed to providing a warm, empathetic, and confidential space where you can feel supported as you work through your concerns. My approach is rooted in respect for your individuality and autonomy and a partnership based on trust and mutual understanding.
